Newtown, Connecticut. Never heard of it before the tragedy unfolded live on TV this past Friday. The town must have been idyllic. Families were drawn there by its beauty, by its safety, by its loving school. The world is heartbroken by this senseless act of evil. The pain those families are experiencing is unimaginable. I don’t know how anyone can get through this. I’m questioning my faith; how does God allow such things to happen to innocent children? My Mom’s answer was, “God doesn’t allow these things, he gets us through them.”
