Our beloved Sam lost his battle with bone cancer today. It is one month to the day since Frank passed. The Pookie Bros. are together again.

Dear Kathleen and Scottie,
I am so very sorry. Because I spent so much time getting to know the Pookie Bros. and because of my own Pookie girl, Shelby, I’ve long felt a certain kinship with Sam and Frank, and they will always have a special place in my heart. I can’t imagine the pain of losing them both, especially so soon after Ramirez, but it doesn’t surprise me that they could not bear to be separated from each other. Please find comfort in knowing you gave them the greatest earthly life possible. You have honored them with all the good you have done in their names.

Broken hearts on earth but Sam and Frank are reunited where there is no pain or sadness. I cannot imagine losing your three friends and companions so close together.
Their legacy lives on in all the good deeds and works achieved and yet to be done by your great team.
