Today we mourn the loss of a Pookie Brother. Frank will be missed so very much.
Click below to hear his song, played as he left us.
“We who choose to surround ourselves
with lives even more temporary than our
own, live within a fragile circle;
easily and often breached.
Unable to accept its awful gaps,
we would still live no other way.”
— Irving Townsend
To Frank – a dog who was well loved, a dog who loved well. A bright soul whose light will always illuminate our lives. Scottie & Kathleen, you are remarkable, compassionate, & loving people. Keeping you close in thought & prayer as you face the days ahead. Love you guys.
so very sorry about frank
I’m so sorry for your loss. Bless you both for the love and care you give to all your furry children.
Dear Scottie and Kathleen —
I am so sorry to hear about Frank and I know your hearts are hurting. I’m thinking of you both — special thoughts go out to special people. Kim
A beautiful song for a more than loving & handsome Frank. My tears fall for him. My heart breaks for you two. I am honored to have another angel watching me and those I cherish.
When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not there to see,
If the sun should rise,
And find your eyes
All filled with tears for me,
I wish so much you wouldn’t cry,
The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things
We didn’t get to say,
I know how much you love me,
As much as I love you
And ever time you think of me
I know you’ll miss me to.
But when tomorrow starts without me
Please try to understand,
That an angel came
And called my name
And took me by the hand,
And said, this is eternity,
And all I’ve promise you,
Today for life on Earth is past,
But here starts anew,
I promise no tomorrow,
For today will always last,
And since each days the same way
There’s no longing for the past.
So when tomorrow starts without me
Don’t think were far apart,
For every time you think of me,
I’m right here in your heart.
Dear Kathleen and Scottie:
We are very sorry for your loss of Frank.
This is a poem that Caitlin read at all of her grandparent’s funeral services.
It gave us comfort and we are hoping it gives you the same.
You are in our hearts & prayers
Love Always,
Cathy, Mark, Shawn & Caitlin Butler
