Baby Becca has discovered carrots! I’ve attempted to let her nibble some before but she never knew what to do with them. Yesterday, she got brave and took the small piece from my hand. She moved it around in her mouth and I think her teeth accidentally crunched it – then the sweet taste hit her and she figured it out. It was quite a moment. Now I have to battle with Cassidy to allow Becca to have some of the sweet, sweet carrots.

Tomorrow we are trying out a holistic hoofcare provider who also happens to be a woman. Becca has been absolutely terrified of both men farriers so I am curious to see her reaction to a woman. Let’s keep our fingers and hooves crossed it goes smoothly!
