Scottie is calling Leo Laporte’s show today so he can pick his brain about setting up a live cam to keep an eye on Cassidy while we await the birth of her foal. We figured Leo might want to check out the blog, and of course our girl insisted on taking a special photo just for him (taken before last weekend’s haircut).

Hi,
I am listening to you on Leo’s show. Do you know about the FOB, Friends Of Barbaro started by Alex Brown.

They would help you get the information you need.
Great site & pictures. If you are not on Alex Brown I know they would love your effort & site.
Hi,
I thought Leo forgot you. I will be real interested in how to resolve your issue with a Mac. I have a Mac & I use to enjoy watching the webcams, but they don’t work with Flip For Mac as I know it in so far as viewing the cams, not setting them up.
Are you familiar with the site Wefoal.com?
They use PC based cam systems.
Please let me know what you do.
Thank you.
Heard you on Leo today. So surprised to go to your website and find Cassidy April is a Fjord. Congratulations! Are you on the Fjord Horse Board on Yahoo yet?

We set up a wireless cam out in the barn for the birth of our foal. About 150 feet away. Found them at Sam’s (or WalMart). The infer-red lighting on them is to low.
Also don’t use a fluorescent light in the stall, not good as it flickers in the way the horses eyes work, hear tell.
Also the wireless cam’s are 2.4 gig hertz and interfere with wireless routers.
If you can, go hard wire …..
AnyHow missed it, in the morning out came Mom and baby.
Ours are at Denise.com under horses, Crossville, TN
